wheel extension widner....anyone use these?

Thinking if getting these wheel extension things to give rc a wider base. Anyone know the pro's and con's

I have them and I took them off - too much play and the extensions make the front wheels hit my T-Bone front bumper. Get wheels with offsets instead

Along with the play very hard on the bearings and stub axle.

I have heard what these guys are saying and I have also heard they are great. I am going to try them on my slash, not a merv however. I just wanted to point out that you can use any rims and tires you can already use with the extenders, buying offset rims will severely limit your choices. Also, its 20 bucks for the extenders which you can run with stockers, which is less than the total cost of 1 set of rims+tires.
