    Help with front bumper

Is my bumper on right? I feel like I am missing a bracket or something.

No, it's on right. However, it looks like your front skid plate is broken...

Put it on correctly as you may lose a pin. The plate should be covering the pins.

Sorry I didn't clarify, I put it on right after I saw his previous comment.

On that front skid you have to pop the front in first. There's two holes that the pins sit in to keep them from coming out.

Also it looks to me that the loop that attaches the bumper to the truck is upside down. Part #5935 just flip it over unless it is broke.

It does look like it may be broken.

I thought it was a directional piece for some reason, because I could have swore I put it on upside down once and my bumper looked identical to his pics. Maybe it was directional on the older ones I don't know, it's been a long time since I've needed to take that part off. I usually just pull the whole body mount assembly. I'll have to look tomorrow when I'm out in the garage.

Yep part number 5935 is most definitely a directional part. Here's a pic of mine installed correctly. All the OP needs to do is flip his over.

Disgruntled employee, or new trainee. That stuff happens on mass production assembly lines.

No it was most likely designed that way. If you notice the chassis has quite a bit of kick up in the front. The bumper mount is angled according so the 2 mounting posts are straight horizontally.
