Finally got a xo !!!!! Help

Hello all , I scored me a xo-1 roller with everything minus motor/esc in a trade for my slash 4x4. I plan to put the mmm/2200kv in for the time being. Any input in this build would be greatly appreciated. I hope I made a good decision getting the xo. Thanks

Looks good! A MMM and 200kv should do great! Id recommend a 29t Pinion gear tho!

Has the esc been un-locked yet? If not, that's what I would do first.

Id say you got a good deal , this roller basically cost $350 without the body and wheels .. a slash 4x4 VXL can be had for that much brand new .

if you look online you can get a brand new motor off ebay 1650KV or 1580KV for under $200 bucks that b your best bet IMHO .. oTHERS have run 4S on that 2200 but I wouldnt run less then 6S - 2 x 3s lipos

Just try to keep it tracking straight as you build up the speed runs If you havnt been up higher then 70-80mph b4.. get ready to be like whoaa.. and stay away from accidents = crashign into somthing , flipping over will just harm the body <im one to speak lol> because after each impact somthing gets tweaked even though everything looks intact .

I have a chance to get a green 1717 motor. being that there is a 4% increase in performance between it and the black 1717, would the performance difference be noticeable? I would hate to pass the green 1717 up being it new for a 120 bucks.
