    how to check cell voltage per cell with volt meter?

    first i would like to know how to check the voltage in each cell of my 3s and 2s batteries with a voltmeter. second, my "few lipo questions" thread "WAS" traxxas related cause the battery that was in that crawler that i just got i use in my bandit which is why i asked the question in the first place. <----this was directed to the nitro chicken. thx again for any suggestions.

    Very carefully using the balance plug.
    Touch two pins with one probe and you've shorted the battery.That's the simplest way. The safest way is to make a testing tap using an old/new 2s or 3s extension wire.

    This should help. clicky me I'm sure the traxxas packs use XH connectors.

    back on same site. clickity me. The rc air people are very inteligant when it comes to working all this math out. For me i just want to know, will it charge and will it work using my basic math skills.
    Also your charger should be able to read and display each cell whilst charging by pressing either + inc or - dec. If it is the same charger software as mine. A lot of chargers use similar options.

    Yea its a certificate i need to work at heights to go with college exams. Which should of been part of the course but wasn't

    i use this also. imo, this is a must have. especially when you can get one for a couple of bucks on fleabay.

    I use a automotive voltmeter works good so far though i need a new one.
