    Question Tmaxx- discovered reverse!

I have a 3.3 tmaxx with grey tranny. I realized it has reverse which I am amazed to find out as it is the updated chassis I believe. It has a hole only for the steering servo, unlike my old 2.5 max with a hole wide enough to accommodate steer and shift servos on the mount.
So, to the point. I tested the reverse and it is fully functioning.is there a way to mount the servo without cutting a holein the chassis for shifting? I am pretty pumped up from this discovery, but am also confused. Is it possible I have a Frankenstein-tmaxx with an old tranny on a new chassis? Any help is nice. Thanks! Kyle.

Yup it is possible. Which brake disc do you have, the pin style or the hex style?
You will need to make a micro servo mount to go next to the steering servo.
Either plastic or aluminum will work. If you have a servo case top you could dremel out the top of it to fit the micro servo in it.
If you don't have an old servo cases are cheap.

You will also need a micro servo & linkage.

    Servo case top.

Cut to fit micro servo into case top.

    Look out for the tree/crunch!

Thanks again wild! Are you ever helpful haha it is the hex style disc for sure. I went through a nightmare trying to get a new hex (previous owner took it before selling, I didn't notice)
I have literally everything lying around that I need, but how does the micro fit in the casE top? Do I simply superglue it in? Thanks again! Kyle.

You need to mark out the micro then dremel out a hole so it drops into the servo top & use 2 bolts & nuts to secure it to the case top.

It will look like this when it's dropped into the hole you make.
