    LiPo storage/discharge

what current/amp do I set the charger at for discharging and or storage? The charger I have gives me an option between 0.1A-1.0A.

    I have a 7.4v 5000 mAh, and a 11.1v 1800 mAh

you want the storage charge function all the time and to be stored at 3.8-3.85v per cell total of 7.6-7.7v 2s lipos. your charge rate is more than fine.

    ok thnx...
I'm just getting into lipos, I bought a 11.1v but I need to get used to driving with the 7.4v lipo first without crashing/rolling it. I upgraded my old rustler 3706 to a brushless motor and the speeds on this thing is insanely fast.

With lipo batteries if they have a full charge and not driving for more than a day or 2 put it in storage mode. I keep my batteries in a freezer bag in my fridge
