here's a few mods I've made, it runs pretty well and after a little more tuning will suit me fine.

that's different how does it handle ?
It'll cover a large football oval in seconds, super fast but the neu 1527 is far too much motor for this thing off road. I'm going to run the 1527 only when I get this thing on the beach, other wise for oval/street running I'll stick a castle 1515 2200kv motor in it as my son will be driving it most the time. I remembered a set of sling shots on geodes and they've giveb me good reason to put the nue back in on our next holiday, we live over three hours from the beach.

Traxxas may be either looking at this to being a good idea for their next truck or they have this chassis in R&D....
Very nice!
The Super Derecho
That's sweet. Is that an 1/8 scale body? More details on this thing please.
Are those the stock shocks and A-arms... How's the Arm travel offroad? That thing hag to to get some serious launches from jumps!!!!![]()

OK enough pictures...... VIDEO !!!!PLEASE !!!
That sand you were speaking of would be a very cool vid....
I'll do my bit to get some video footage over the weekend with the 1515 in it and the truggy wheels, I want to see if it'll land a few big ones too.
Its a 1/8th sc8 nitro body, it's the closest thing I've found to fitting.
RPM arms, xo-1 drive train, slash 4x4 front and rear bumper, carbon fiber wide shock mount, xo-1 shocks with revo white/blue springs on the rear and white/red on the front, losi XXT truggy wheels (5.5"-6.13" wheels will fit), sc8 body, carbon fiber chassis, upper chassis support, hitech 7955 steering servo in a aluminium "boat" servo mount, slash 2x4 front and rear body support mounts, new era lst2 skid plate (modded), castle MMM, spektrum mr200 RX all to be ran on 4s 45-90c 5000mAh **** tech lipo's and for giggles every now and then 5s & 6s across the footy ovals.
The Nue 1527 is far too much motor for this model, it'll only go back in for the beach runs when I'm on holidays along with the xl2 speedo to handle the extra amp pull on the sand.
Thanks for the kind words

I know, more pic's and no video but I wanted to add these as I think they are the most important. The 1527 was wicked and I mean that in every way, it was hard to drive with all the power, my finger soon become a punch control aid that only ever got squeezed 1/2 way and each time I'd get an itching finger and it'd be doing backflips at 65-75mph, it gets old quickly. The cc1515 2200kv set up honestly rocks. The lighter set up on 4s is more than enough running a 52t spur and a 17t pinion to get it up well over 100kph in a short distance but will still flip at around 70mph when doing an extended wot run, wow, it's great to be able to pin the throttle for few seconds. The 1515 still has enough torque to pull wheelies when ever I want but now they are much more controlable, it's now a VERY fun truck to drive, stopping/braking is awesome from full tilt to dead stop, nice and smooth. It handles like the slash 4x4 now, just with more grunt and a bigger, higher look and jumping is definatly on the cards after a quick spring change to lighten them up a tad, until the 5ives finished, this has become a new favorite now it's powered correctly, what a difference.
I knew I should have a cross strap over the battery but I kept pushing things until I crashed/flipped after a long wot run (awesome) and the battery pushed out the rear of the body hard enough to break the rear 1/4 pannel off the shell, that sux.

Wow, that is pretty awesome.
you should of patent it millzee so traxxas can pay you royalties , now they will steal your idea and proce their over 8th scale 4x4 truck
XO-1,SLASH 4X4 ,SLASH 2WD , 2/RUSTLER
Pretty sure if traxxas made a 1/8 sc it would just be a longer revo with shorter arms.
I sure hope they do bring out one out similar, I like the idea of a stretched revo with the wider stance but this is working ok with off set truggy rims, they make it wide enough. It drives a little like a corvett, tight turns on most surfaces can be made with a small squirt on the throttle and throwing the rear end around.

Nice truck!!
Where abouts in Vic are you?
Cool! I think that a costom Ken Block shell, tires, rims, and a little ride hight change would make a epic H.F.H.V. Rallycross, Stage Rally, and Gymkhana. Awsowowme!
Only 70 MPH? MORE LIPO!!!!
OK oK Ok........ now that we made a new friend......VIDEO!!!!!!!

I went to take it for a spin the other day and found the rear driveshaft in a bit of an L shape so it'll have to wait until I get some MIP's. This is kinda getting in the way a little too..........

We have taken a week off to get a few things done around our new house and I managed to find an hour to glue the badlands together and fit the Tekno Cvds and have taken it for a run, well I tried three times before success anyway. To fit the Geode rims onto the tekno 17mm hex's, I had to dremel out the traxxas spines and now they fit a treat. The front cvds each slipped out on the first two driving attemps but was soon fixed and then on the third drive the rear wheel feel off due to the hex pin dropping out, again another quick fix and then I was able to run the battery down. I'll need to make a few adjustments with suspension and wheel camber but she's very quick and handles pretty good so far. I took it over a few small jumps and it flies well enough without too much correction to keep it level and lands well enoughbut as said, some suspension tweaking will make things a lot better.

that thing is awesome
does it get up to 100
it wants to but until I tweak the suspension, it get's a tad bouncy on rough ground around 3/4 throttle. It's awesome on large football ovals (fields) on nice flat cut grass, I'll have to fit the gps in it and get back to you on speed.
