Are you racing or bashing... I would go the castle sct 2400 as the 3800 is in my opinion better for 2wd. 2400 defiantly if your mainly bashing but if your using 2s don't use the 2400 because u need at least 3s

4000kv or 4600kv Tenshock if you are only planning 2s

Motor / ESC combos are only $100 or so, check out www.funshobby.com

SC411 (sensored) is a good option

You will obviously need a sensored ESC

Sell off the stock motor / esc combo and it wont cost you much at all

Heaps more power and torque and no heat issues, its a no brainer

The Castle Mamba Pro SC ESC/1410 motor is a good set up, but more expensive. If you run more then 2s, you'll have to upgrade the rest of the drivetrain, and the center diff is definitely iffy with anything over 2s. Both the Castle ESC and motor come with fans, I've been running mine on asphalt in 100 degree temps, the TQi shows 118 - 120 for motor temp. I verified the temps with a IR temp guage.

The 550 Tenshocks make the same power sensored or sensorless

Sensored is smoother down low but costs a few more bucks

How about getting a lower kv option by tenshock? The SC411 has a 3500kv option.
