    brushless not working right....

    Hey guys,
on my merv, the brushless setup isnt working right. have any of you guys had this problem where the trucks steering works fine, but when i go to give it throttle it glitches. not the type of studder when only 2 wires are connected, but its like if i hold the throttle lets say at 50% and dont move my finger, the throttle response on the car will rev up to that speed, but then go to neutral like once a second. i can even see the light on the aftermarket esc change colors indicating that i was doing neutral in between throttle, but i wasnt. it does this in forward, brakes, and reverse. it will constantly go back to neutral about once a second unless my current command is neutral. steering works fine 100% and range is not the problem because im using 2.4 and i have tried it with another radio with the same results. the only thing that fixed it was using a different esc. is my reciever connection bad? i already tried re-soldering those... there was a dent in the wires so i thought that was the problem, so i took it out and the problem remained. any help? its really annoying i want to enjoy my new merv! Thanks!

My first step would be to recalibrate the ESC and radio to each other.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Have you tried unplugging the steering servo?
I have seen it happen LOTS of times... weird electrical issues... "working" servo... unplug servo... no issues.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

sounds like your battery is not fully charged, or it just can't supply the amps that the brushless needs
Love how Noobs ask a ?, then say you're wrong
