    Burned up esc pics!




    My lhs called and asked if I could install a motor combo for a customer. This is why he needed a new one. I can't go into any details but the motor bearing was destroyed too...

    WOW Thats one toasty esc. It looks like the potting compound used to waterproof it bubbled out of it... that takes a lot of heat

    Fore whatever reason, when mine quit working (you would have to kick it to make it go- no reverse even with it "enabled") it decided to spark when I hit reverse. I took it out of the vehicle, got an old 6 cell battery, charged it and took her out back with a lawn chair, gas mask, and a bucket of water and jut let her go. It was fun, I should have got a video. I'll post a picture of what happened to the 6 cell. Don't get mad, it survived 10 YEARS of hard racing and bashing. It ran for about 3 minuets before the huge voltage drop and then it would crawl along for another 15 minuets.

    That would be a good reason to clean the chassis up and dye her black. I'm glad my MMP didnt come out looking anything like that.

    Oh and I'm glad the straw didnt catch fire either.
