anybody running this motor and esc combo?

Looking at changing out to a bigger/better setup and keep the waterproofness. I am looking at this setup and was wondering if this would fit?

i would like to just be able to run 3s and not run hot or damage the esc. And yes i am geared down to 9/54. thinking of maybe trying to squeeze in a 56t spur. Anybody know if a 56t spur will fit?

Mis advertising there. That ain't the sc8 waterproof one. and a, sure I read 54t was the biggest that would fit. :-)

Yup that will fit, a member of the forum installed one on his truck, pretty sure the 54 is the biggest spur you can use, also don't need to gear it down probably you will have to gear it higher 15-17t.

That combo will be sweet i think and as rc fan said you will need to gear up not down make sure you have strong batterys to feed that combo....peace

i have a 8000mah 3s 25c and two 5000 30c 3s . do you think these will be enough?

the two 5000 30c should be enough but the 25c may puff but i could be wrong ..peace
