Would you go flip my truck back over??
On my Summit yes, haven't tried them on the ERBE yet. wont get that chance till spring.

If you use the rear bumper support mounted upside down on the front and trim the top of the skid plate, summit bumper fits perfect and looks correct,

ERBE, ERBE, Summit, Slash 4X4, Bandit,
Ohhh i like that, looks great
Might have to steal that idea from you![]()

Ya, I went ahead and bought another set to put on my nitro revo. I really like the look.
ERBE, ERBE, Summit, Slash 4X4, Bandit,
I didnt have to modify the skid plate... maybe the Revo hoop is a touch longer than the summits??
I actually like it with the lights too now that it is that low. I didn't even think of using a rear mount upside down.
(RAH)² (AH)³ + [ROMA (1+MA)] + (GA)² + (OOH)(LA)²
Looks good, even with the light bar.
I didn't even try a revo bumper support, just tried the one that came with the summit rear bumper since it looked just like the nitro one.
ERBE, ERBE, Summit, Slash 4X4, Bandit,
My mistake, it was an E-revo rear support. Not sure if they are different or not.

So i picked up a new set of White Blast wheels for this rig. Before i pick up some Phaltlines to tape does anyone else HPI or otherwise make any other tires that fit these particular HPI rims? Im guessing no, but figured i would ask.

So i think I'm going to start thinking about a Diff conversion for this. I'm leaning towards just using the HR cups.
Anyone who has them do you need to buy anything else with the cup or does the stock stuff bolt right up?
(RAH)² (AH)³ + [ROMA (1+MA)] + (GA)² + (OOH)(LA)²
Here you go mate...thats what I did.

Easy mod just take your time. Second one took minutes. Don't forget loctite on the bolts!
Are the STRC housings a required or just a because buy?
Looks like aside from the alum parts everything else is stock?
(RAH)² (AH)³ + [ROMA (1+MA)] + (GA)² + (OOH)(LA)²
Be a good idea to get the strc cases along with the hr cups
ERBE... E-SlayerPro4x4... ERBE-gt... crap.
Maybe i'll just beef the rears for now...
(RAH)² (AH)³ + [ROMA (1+MA)] + (GA)² + (OOH)(LA)²
Yep. Adds up quick! I did front and rear then when it didn't hold up ended up dumping a few more hundred on the losi mods!
Anybody sell both items? having a hard time finding the STRC housings anywhere other than the STRC website.
(RAH)² (AH)³ + [ROMA (1+MA)] + (GA)² + (OOH)(LA)²
Ebay has only a set of blue strc cases. They don't have the hr cups
Buy FLM cups for the slash 4x4 so the carrier cross support fits without having to grind it down first. I tried the HR and Rdlogics, both made with the same screwed up CNC program. The FLM cups are a perfect fit! I may venture into the aluminum outer housing too but havent yet.
Bizarre hobbies on fleabay has the HR cups, if you act quick you can probably get the ones I sent back for a discount.![]()
Running the flm without an aluminum case might help out the spider gears a little but you will still have flex that ruins the ring and pinion
FLM cups are cheaper than the HR too, good to know they are direct swap with the spider gears and Ibar as well.
Takes a bit of the sting out of 6 diffs... lol
(RAH)² (AH)³ + [ROMA (1+MA)] + (GA)² + (OOH)(LA)²
Aaaaand apparently you cant buy direct from FLM website??
Who sells FLM? Saw them at stormer but they have 1. if i do this i want 4.
(RAH)² (AH)³ + [ROMA (1+MA)] + (GA)² + (OOH)(LA)²
I believe SPC sells some flm parts.
Sent from my MB886 using Tapatalk 2
saw that too, but its mostly rusty parts. don't have the Slash diff cups listed anyways.

Got my HR Double up slipper today. Nice easy install. Also finally mounted the motor.
I really need to stop trying to buy them though, first time i bought them i got a slipper kit for the slash4x4 in the ERBE bag (but i had a Slash4x4 at the time) this time my shipment arrives with only 1 instead of 2.
Seller is posting another one out for me tomorrow.
Still need to get around to changing out the plugs on my MMM to series Traxxas plugs (its a single deans right now)
Decided to go with 38/20 Mod1 gearing. 4.7v/cell on Phaltlines puts me at 53.84 mph TTS according to scriptasylum. 57mph on my Truggy tires.
Only thing im still gonna change out is the Servo. I still need to pick up my 1230tg's... need/want 4 of them... $$$$
(RAH)² (AH)³ + [ROMA (1+MA)] + (GA)² + (OOH)(LA)²
That's the problem with having so many trucks...you want to upgrade them all.
I'm a Rock n Rolla !
hahaha i know.... cant bring myself to thin the fleet though. And every time i do i seem to buy 2 NEW rigs to mess around with.
I had 7 as a high before and got down to 3 now i have 9... and i still don't have my 1/10 Rally.
Cheap rollers are my vise.

Sure thing.
Edit ** ♦Should mention this is the Hot Racing TRX15GP kit and 2ea of the TRX15HS Hard anodized pads.
voila!
HR Double Up installed.

Thanks mate...I've been thinking about getting this for my GT build. Has it pushed your spur gear slightly forward??
I plan on running Mod1 22/36 with 2/3s running Tekin RX8 2000kv combo.
I'm a Rock n Rolla !
cant tell for sure, i didnt have the motor mounted initially. i am convinced however that mod 1 gears themselves push out a tad, they rub on the cover. Mod1 rubs on my Eslayer and ERBE-gt. put a Mod0.8 on and no rub...
I just cut out the cover like this.

I've got mod 1 21/40 and no rub. Using the stock hd slipper setup though.
ERBE, ERBE, Summit, Slash 4X4, Bandit,
I cant explain why i get rub, i have torn down and reassembled the entire unit multiple times. Mod1 rubs on my 3 trucks im using it on. I dont run telemetry so cutting out the cover works just fine for me.

Looks sharp!
Just out of curiosity, why would you put on-road tyres on a monster truck? isn't the whole point of monster trucks to go off-road?
I have both. Right now it is set up for driving on the street.
I always have extra tires
These 4 sets are just for the ERBE.

So i picked up a set of Steel CVD center shafts today. Now I'm trying to decide where they should go.
ERBE, E-SlayerPro4x4, or Summit...
Thoughts? I would think the best place would be the ERBE, but i beat the tar out of my E-SlayerPro4x4
Just curious what you guys think?

Would you go flip my truck back over??
I would say anything but the summit, it doesn't go fast enough to be torn up.
