Icurrently have a mmp setup on my rustler. The castle motor came with a motor fan. My question is where do I connect the wire to on the fan. I'm assuming the receiver box, but which inlet on the receiver?
Thanks Steve

I'm 99% sure it plugs into the ESC. All of the receiver channels are basically switched ports, so unless you have a button on your TX to activate it, it won't run.
I see an inlet on the esc but the motor fan plug does not fit in it. The fan plug looks like a regular plug that goes into the receiver. The inlet on the esc is alot bigger. Anyone familiar with what I'm talking about?

Also it says sensor above the inlet on the esc. Do I have to get a sensor for the motor? Maybe the fan plug goes into the sensor?

If you can wait a day I'll post up a pic of my MMP. I'm on the road at the moment.

What up man, my castle motor fan plugged into the receiver. It runs all of the time when the truck is on also. I had to buy a short extension to make it work on my stampede. The sensor port on the esc is for a sensored brushless motor like a novac or tekin.
Thanks oak... What port did you put it in on the receiver?

No sweat man. I used the channel 3 slot, or the 4th one up. There are 2 slots for channel one (for the trucks using 2 servos for steering), but I didnt want to even try to cause any voltage sharing problems between my steering servo and the fan. I'll be honest tho, it wasnt about a week later I ditched the fan altogether. It looked good and did a great job of moving hot air away from the motor while it was sitting still, but had very little effect during the actual running of the truck.
