    Slayer cutting out please help

    hey guys please help. i got my slayer running but i cant figure out how im tuning it wrong. when given WOT it speeds up momentarily and then cuts out abrubtly and repeats but never dies... i have tried and tried but just cant figure it out. can anyone give me any pointers or help how to fix the problem?

    The engine is not getting enough fuel so either the HSN is too lean, there is a partial carb blockage or the tank is not getting pressurized enough by the pipe.

    You're way too lean on the hsn. Richen it at least half a turn...
    Like double G said check to make sure the tank is sealed.

    But if I richen it, it runs too rich and won't shift. How do I check the tank

    Take the tank off and leave the fuel lines on it. Then submerge it in water and hold the lines above the water.
    Plug the fuel line and blow into the pressure line. If you see any bubbles then you know you got a tank leak.

    Temps are good and plenty of blue smoke. It's runs great when first started but after warming up is when it starts to cut out.

    Okay I think I might know what your problem is....when the truck is warmed up is it hard to start?

    And no, not hard to start after its warmed up

    Do u have any air leaks check all tubing for air leaks as well

    This guy sounds like he had ur exact same issue.. but, he never says if he found out the problem.. I hate it when they don't post the results. Worth reading though .. Maybe somebody else knows
