Tekin T8 Truggy motors G2, pictures of the back for the HPP brace for the E-revo....

    Hi!
I will need a detailed picture of a Tekin G2 T8 Truggy motor on the E-revo or at least of the back side of the motor seeing the sensored cable to send to HPP Germany for them to fab a new motor brace for that sensored motors!

    Anyone?

I am asking because i have an E-revo Roller and want to put a Tekin T8 Truggy motor on it!

    Thanks

Have you tried searching Google image for pictures? I found some but you'll have to see if it's what you need.

    Search for "e-revo tekin t8"

You already posted same question days ago....http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread...truggy-motor-s

It won't work with tekin motor..unless you don't use the sensor,,,so there is no point of using the tekin system

I asked HPP from Germany and they said they can do it, but need to have a pic of the back of the tekin g2 motor!

Like i said i am in contact with HPP and they asked me a pic of that tekin t8 g2 motor to see if it's possible for them to make a new brace motor for that!

As for the net... of course i searched first... but never saw that... only with the older red T8 truggy motor!

Seems they should purchase a motor to have the physical specs and beable to do a manual fit. Not just look at a pic and say awww that outta fit.

Even unsensored, the tekin is smoother than the castle. But unless you are crawling, both motors are smooth enough for a revo.

Well, the sizes are on their website...so either way it's not my problem, it's ther's...

And if this could work, why not! Some people will apreciated.
They said it can't be done... they said there first generation of tekin motor brace had experienced but a no GO..., but for the g2 they don't know, so the pic.

But getting all this hard...it could stay in what you want. Stay the same!

    Thanks

What i come up in google max i can is this:

-No good, cause can't see the back of the motor... i already asked that guy.

    Maybe i will mail tekin.

I would buy that brace right away. I have truggy gen2 motor too, but don't forget to mention that can is significantly longer on tekin truggy.(mamba is same length as buggy motor according to specs). I had to cut from rear shock mount(part 5317) to fit motor properly as low as possible. I will post some pictures later.

T8 Truggy is 77mm Long, castle 1515-2200 is 75.18mm, castle buggy 1512 motor is 68mm Long, not really the same.

Ok, they said it's possible to made it!
Of course said the lenght and diamater is a little more then the Stock motor but to make them they need to have more customers asking for it...

So for now... all i can do is asking you guy who have Tekin's on E-revos to mail HPP for a motor brace for our Tekin T8 motors!

    GO GO MAIL HPP!

Nah...too expensive. I never had any issues stripping a spur, so for me it is not really needed, also there are other ways to make the stock motor mount stronger, just putting a long screw across the motor plate and mount, and tighten it up with a nut, it works really good.

HPP parts are overpriced and pointless.
