Yah that's why I asked. Do you guys know what mounting holes to make. There like 3 in rear and 5 up front. Witch ones do I make my mounting holes

There are 3 dimples in the rear and 5 in the front.
I want to know which ones to use for the slash as this body is for multiple sct's and idk which dimples to put the holes in

Like others have said venom is only good if you solder the trx connecter on it. I personally just ordered a 2s and 3s 5000 mah Spc pack one hard and one soft

probably safe to say you cant go wrong with a traxxas battery, but the venom batteries have to run a seperate connector to fit a traxxas. every connector is a slow down in power flow. so yeah i would solder a regular trx connector on it. i have a onyx 2S 5000mah 25C battery and i love it.

The 1410Y will not be happy with a 5000mah 25C battery. That's good for 125A. I run 4400 40C packs for 2S (176A) and it's just enough. 5000mah 40C would be even better.

My dad says he Might get a rustler vxl tommorow as his first rc. I'm gonna get him to race me to see if I can beat him. I'll probably get 40mph though. I might make it the same gearing to see the real power in mine.

Dissapointed... My proline body is cracked and I haven't even flipped the truck with the body on
I was hoping for a more durable body out of proline. Its got a crack up the wheel wells and I haven't got a scratch in it because I want to keep it new as long as possible

if it makes you feel any better mine is cracked in multiple places

just shoe goo and drywall tape it back together. it will help prevent future damage as well.

This is why I don't buy ProLine bodies anymore. The 2500HD I put on my Pede lasted less than a month. The JConcepts Raptor that replaced it is going on 9 months. We had two almost identical LCG Slashes, one with a PL Raptor, the other with a JConcepts Raptor. The PL Raptor lasted about 3 months before it was completely demolished. The JConcepts is still in use, almost a year later. We have two JConcepts DARE shells that are almost 2 years old.

Stock Traxxas Slash shells are about 3x as durable as anything from ProLine.

okay so for the past 2 hours i have been pulling weeds at my cousins track across the feild and im going to practise in about half an hour. i will hopefully get a good quality video for everyone

yeah i always wanted proline bodies because i thought they were supposed to be top notch

my last proline body i litterly never ran after i painted it because i traded the rig off with some stuff for another full size project truck. well this one i litterly had a crack after the first time i ran it. which was only 1 2S 5000mah lipo and 2 8.4V NIMH 45000mah batteries. now the back is cracked by both tail lights, both front wheel wells, and a big crack in the front bumper.

One thing I have noticed with cracking bodies. If you use an xacto to cut your masking while its on the body, there is a good chance the body will crack on that line. Not saying it has anything to do with this situation, just something to be aware of. Just inspect your body after every bash, and keep the shoogoo handy... My proline chevy is 2 years old and is solid, but has cracked in 5 or 6 places...

My question is can I get replacement parts for the shock holders and plastic broken piece?

Oh haha I realized what u said... First I masked and cut strips of masking take and place them where needed painted orange and next waited overnight and at 4ish in the afternoon I took it of and painted green and waited and backed it painted windows black backed it and waited 24 hours and trimmed it with lexan scissors

im pretty sure you should be able to buy those parts in case something like this does happen. i know rpm sells the plastic piece on the end of the shock rod if nothing else.

Look around on ebay. You may find a parts pile that has them in it. You can buy the shock ends at your lhs.

Okay it seems like something is wrong in my tranny.. I put my brushed set up in so I could go in the mud. My tire on the right is turning alot slower when I hit the gas. What is wrong?

It's an open differential. So the tire with less traction spins faster. Especially if you have not put in heavier diff lube. Just the same as lifting up both tires and holding one completely or letting it slip some.

is there any binding in the driveline on that side? Bad bearings perhaps?

Thanks my one tire spinning faster is alot balder. So I need a new dif.? Dif fluid or tires?
