Ive had my slash for a year and I want to make it very fast! I want good traction and amazing power...
This will be a basher and speed runner hope to reach 75mph

These are my upgrades so far....
Castle creations sct race pro ( mmp and 3800kv 4-pole motor with 5mm shaft

4x4 driveshafts in the rear

And..... That's it I want the best of the best in my truck. I want to go all out in this one!

U have lipos? If not I would recommend venom 3s or traxxas 3s. Perhaps some rpm a arms. Make it as light as possable. I don't know anything about shock weight but I put 50 weight in mine.

stock is i think 30weight ? i have some 50 as its for my 4x4

i do not have lipo batterys.... yet but my dad doesnt like me spending.... but i have enough to buy a good 50 8000mah 3s traxxas lipos . so do the math

Lol that is exactly the same as my dad! I barely and I mean baaarreelllyy was able to get a vxl motor and esc for my slash yet I have tons of money extra lol! My dad says its a wast of money and I should be saving up for new tire/rim combo for my qaud haha

Edit: I would get 2 8000 mah 3s traxxas lipos or 5000 mah which ever you want.. Then I would get a thunder ac6 charger for 40 bucks! http://www.hobbypartz.com/thac6smbachw.html

Nice build

Maybe you can use 32p gears (stock are 48p)
It have bigger teeth= more strength and have more range of gearings.

haha like my esc mount i know 32 pitch have bigger teeth.. all 4x4 traxxas vehicules have them and once i opened up my cover on the motor i was surprised thinking they would be smaller. if i ever go 32p i will go 18/50 and go up from there.

Upgrade your shocks! Get BigBores or something better PL maybe? STRC is what i have like them a lot.

If I go with different shocks they might my big bores. What are integy piggy backs like? I know integy isn't the best but I'm wondering as they look cool

Not sure, have not heard a lot about them. BTW piggy backs offer no better performance on such a small level (as 1:10 scale RC), drop the extra doe only for looks.

Perhaps.. I haven't really looked at it because I found the tthunder ac6 and it had like 1 four review and the rest were five..

I see I just like the EZ- peak because it traxxas and the only parts I've broken on both my trucks were a rear carrier and front a-arm. When this 2wd here had a Titan t-12 I ran it for over a year!! I got bored and put the castle in 3weeks ago and now the brushed set up is sitting it a box collecting dust....

I own the Soft Case Battery Pack; 5400mAh , 50C, 3S, 11.1V

It is great. As for a charger set up I currently own the Onyx 230 with equinox balancer. Solid Combo BTW, but it is sort of out of date the onyx 235 looks like a great value (balancer is built in)- but i cannot say because I don't personally own it- but I plan for that to be my next charger

The guys at they hobby shop were gonna give my the onyx but I want the EZ peak.... So I wasted my money on a 5100mah Nimh dynamite battery for 69$

I am not using stock VXL (if so, I am going to use my watercooling system), so I don't think is important because I am using a mamba monster, and it just get a bit warm than the ambient temperature (here in Costa Rica like 22 C° to 24 C°), but in other reviews i look the temps down from 5 to 15 and sometimes 20 degrees (Fahrenheit), but it depend in what conditions are you running, where, how hard is you with the throttle and the ambient temperature.

22 C° to 24 C° is the coolest in the day. On the day is 25C° to 27C°(right now) and sometimes 30C°, maybe you can think is cold but is very hot because of the humidity of the day.
Here in Costa Rica we have 2 seasons: the dry season known to the residents as summer, and the rainy season, known locally as winter. (we are on rainy season) You can't imagine the dry season

Well.... My place used to be a dairy farm up intil '89 when my opa got out and sold his quota. He and me dad got into manufacturing... So anyways my dad and mom built a new house on the property. Btw it's on Ontario... And we rent out the land but I raise bull calves and they go to auction at 7months (900lbs) they are corn fed beef I also have a summer job at my dads. But yeah I'm also in my 2nd year of 4-h

Tommorow we are going to have a huge race. We are having a pool party and my friends and cousins and dads friends are bringing there's . There are going to be at least 12 rc vehicules. 2 slash 4x4s , 3 slash 2wds, 1 nitro rustler, 1 t-maxx, Losi sc-10, 2 other losi's both nitro, team associated nitro, some kind of buggy and idk what else. It's gonna be great.
