    i have the old (long antena) TQ and need help

    On the receiver the wire is ripped off would it work by just putting the wire back together?

    Also, can i use the old receiver with a the TQ traxxas link transmitter?

    There used to be a compatibility guide for radios other than the TQi, but I cannot find it....
    So, from memory...

    Traxxas LINK = FM
    So... the old receiver, if it is AM, will not work with an FM system.

    The Rx wire for the AM systems should not have a break in it and should be around 24" long. The Rx case is separable to obtain access to the circuit board to solder on a new wire.
