Did I fry my ESC for good??

So I was out bashing my Slash 2wd and I converted it to the brushless motor and esc with an 8-cell. I was on the street and spun out and it stop moving. I went to the truck and it was jerking and studdering then some smoke came out. I've only ran this brand new motor and esc twice. Can this esc be fixed??

Time to contact traxxas. they are good about warranty stuff.

Once you let the smoke out of stuff it usually dont work no more. Try to keep the smoke in.

Unfortunately for me I bought it on ebay, so not sure the warranty will work. Seller said it was new and looked new when I got it.

Some ebay sellers are traxxas authorized dealers

And traxxas electronics have a lifetime warranty.

The hardest part is shipping it to traxxas then waiting by the mailbox for it to come back. It used to cost $25 for warranty replacement.
