    Dyed chassis

Can I dye the chassis dark blue with rit dye or will this not work. I read in another thread a while ago that you might not be able to dye the chassis because grey is the color of the plastic and it is not dyed. I would also like to know if the blue dye will work because all I've seen dyed is in black. I already read up on how to do it so no explination is needed there. Thanks for all your help.

You are welcome. The plastic in the Stampede chassis (pictured) and the Revo/Summit chassis should be the same. I also dyed the Stampede's transmission case and had good results.
A note that was interesting to me was that RPM blue parts and Traxxas gray parts took the dye with very similar results. That made me happy since I hate the RPM blue, lol.
A couple cautions: I used Royal blue with satisfactory results but Denim blue was too dark. And as always, YMMV.
