    New Aussie ERBE owner!!!

    Hi All,
Just purchaced an new E Revo and loving it. I haven't anything RC since I was a kid and this truck is fast and a bit of a handfull at the moment.
Everything is stock righ now, but have some 2S LiPo's comming soon.
Damage is minimal with only a busted rear shock cap, and the slipper clutch tightening.
I went a checked out the locals RC tracks the other day and took some pic's. I didn't get to much of a run as the slipper was loose. I had the whole place to myself!!

I looking for a online store who will sell traxxas spare parts and hopup parts with reasonable prices and international shipped, if you could PM or post some links it would be great.

I also bought the traxxas 6amp charger and have a question regarding charging.... I'm charging 2 7cell NiMh batts at once and 1 battery always seems cooler than the other. Any ideas?

    After 1st bashing run....

    Dirt track....

    Tarmac track...

and the E Revo transportation vehicle with E Revo...

congrats on the purchase. Cool trucks... both of them. I like to use ebay for most purchases. Rcsuperstore.com also has a huge selection of parts and is super fast shipping. Good luck with ERBE
Beatings will continue until compliance is gained

    Congrats:
Your truck looks a bit wet, you do know it is not very water resistant?
Might look at the Outerwares cover for water splashes....
Would you go flip my truck back over??

Yes it a "Holden VY SS ute" with the 5.7L LS1 (Chev) and a few mods for 450bhp...

Have you seen a RC body with a similar shape as my 1:1 before?

My LiPo's have been shipped, not long now...

Hey mate...there use to be a track in carol park, they have just bulldozed down. Apparently they are building a new top class dirt track, street track and drag strip. We will have to wait around 10 weeks for completion. I hope this is true what I have heard.

We have a couple plastic launch ramps we have bought so we bash any where that looks good.

You guys got anywhere good to bash yourside?

Nice truck, nice track and nice ute. I'm also an Aussie BL E-Revo owner. You probably won't find any Holden ute bodies but Proline make a few pickup truck style bodies that'll fit. I have a Ford Raptor body on mine.

Thanks, the colour I used is Tamiya light blue PS-3. The Big Joes are alright but they sure are heavy so cartwheels and stuff like that don't normally end well, I've been using my Talons the last few times out just for the fact they are a bit lighter. I have a set of Big Joes on some offset rims for my Summit and I think they are much better for that go slow trail running type of RCing rather then the go fast crash hard type of bashing I like to do with the E-Revo. In terms of looks though, I love the Big Joes.

Could not for the life of me find the R/C tracks last time I was over there, someone from the AHC said that it was just after the bridge heading Vic way on the left, and Google knows nothing of it..
Bought my E Revo from the AHC - They seemed to know what they were on about 3 years ago.

I get a lot of my parts from philshobbyshop, The Toyz and omnimodels on eBay, they have a crazy large range, good prices, and always seem to get the gear I order here within 2 weeks.

I'm lucky, there's a skate park about a 100m from where I work. It is never busy, always get to have a blast there. My mate and I have a couple plastic skate ramps so we bash anywhere, there is also an old BMX track in Rocklea that has grown over with grass so there is a couple big jumps and it is always empty.

Yeah mate...I am forever buying spares from those eBay stores...they are awesome and convenient. Shipping and time is pretty good. I am at the moment waiting for a heap of spares to come so I can get my truck up and running again.

I agree with you about those Big Joes...horrible for when you crash at high speed. I have so much spares for my E-Revo that I have decided to build a summit. Its a long term project but hope to have it complete by early next year.

Another Aussie here. E-Revo is on the list. Own a two 2wd Slash's one low cog. A Rustler and a MERV and Mini Summit.

I use ebay for all my parts, the-toyz and rcboyz are my first call for ebay stores. Postage and pricing is great. As is the customer service.
