What pipe do you have now? The stock Resonator is a good choice.
    Look out for the tree/crunch!

Check out Robin's pipes over at ERCM. They are not cheap but they perform like no other. I have a small block end bleed model on my T-Maxx 3.3 and it is insane in both performance and sound!

If you are on a budget, the THS pipe is hard to beat.

    Not a problem, THS makes a pipe for the Jato too!(THS #144H-Jato 2.5 / 3.3)

THS 1015 if the engine is stock and 1015T if not. Best pipes I found.

What's the difference between the polished and the tan colored?

The tan is a hard coated pipe. It will resonate quicker and resist hard knocks.

Rick does running without the deflector make that much difference?

I would have really liked to see THS include the Hard Coated header in the pipe set, but at the price I snagged the set for NIB I can't complain.

Running without the deflector will allow your pipe to resonate where it's supposed to and with each pipe it will differ, but you can loose up to 10,000 rpm. Milo4, the harder the pipe the faster it will begin to resonate. When a pipe resonates your engine is at it's most efficiency.

Thank you Rick, I did not know it could have such a negative effect on the engines performance.
