Could I build a xo-1 for less than 1000 bux?

Just curious if you think I could build a running xo-1 for less than 1000 dollars? Or would it be cheaper to just buy one? Your thoughts please.

I think just buy a new one. I wouldn't buy used xo-1 parts as a car going 100mph its hard on the wear.

I've seen decent used ones for $700 almost new. You'd probably end up saving near $400. Thats a good bit of change to upgrade to better parts/better batteries etc...

Why build when you can get some really good deals on ebay right now. I would say no you can't build an XO-1 for under $1000.00 I wish I would of waited a while to buy mine. I would of saved a ton of $$$$$$$.

You can hardly build a rustler speedrunner for under a grand (if you dont sell the stock parts).

most ppl who will build probably allready have a ESC or motor and tx/rx .. or sure can source new take offs for cheaper and probably have batteries also . Not too many ppl are lookin for a roller that dont have a line of cars allready or else just buy new ..

I got brand new roller with clear body for $300
new 2200 CCMM motor and ESC for $200
brand new tires for $75 servo $20
so for $600 brand new ready togo . just addd rx and batteries plus $10 for paint
but I can get you a Brand New DM1 Spec E with CCMM 2650 and ESC , Savox servo and sweep tires for $540
and it will smoke XO1 in any aspect of driving except for size and thats a $700+ purchase if you buy everything seperate
