list of upgrade parts

can somebody make me a list of all the parts i should upgrade right off the bat? i have the jato but it is still in the box at my house. Thanks!


Oh and what tires/wheels should i get that will do good on and off road? might even get two sets. one for racing and one for bashing

the upgrades that is must now is the RPM front bumper , it will save your upfront from impacts.
as long as your jato is new I guess no need to remove stock new parts. unless you're going to sell them .

later you can put on rpm a arms, and buy a sets of geolanders tires, or dirthawgs.

you can go for the metal gear high torque Hitec HS 645MG servo. Very powerful with relative acceptable price.

Not really needed and if they are made by Integy, I would return them before you open them. Almost everyone has had problems with them.

Thats about it. This RC is pretty rugged out the box. At this point take it in the direction you want to take it. Different strokes for different folks. Check into my ground up build thread or other Jato's in the picture thread for ideas of what people are doing.

For offroad tires get a set of badlands. I was amazed at how well they grip.

Also consider getting a reinforcement plate for your top plate. I just replaced mine and they are prone to snapping right by the front screws.

Do they do well on grass? I got a football field I can do some 100 yard sprints with if they do well on grass.

How do they compare to Dirt Hawgs in different conditions?

Lol no worries. I'm on my phone and was on lunch break so its hard to get everything you need to say within a short period of time.

However, they do great on the grass. I've driven it in grass yesterday and it pops wheelies like nothing. I also have my battery mounted in the center compartment so there isn't as much weight back there. Took it out on the dirt and it handles like a dream compared to the anaconda tires. As far as the dirt hawgs go I haven't personally ran them but I've heard people prefer the badlands over them. Which is the reason I tried the badlands myself. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Badlands tires grips perfect from it's patteren looks. it's almost the same as the racing buggy tires design.

yah im running 2.8 badlands on all four and man they RIP!!!!!!!
