Traxxas Slash 4x4 Stability issues

Hey guys, I recently bought a traxxas slash 4x4 and i have upgraded to 3s 11.1v 5000mah Lipo's. From out of the box i have found the slash loves to roll, and short of using very low acceleration i will flip while turning. This is driving on paved roads. on offroad i find the flipping is not as big of an issues but it still happens if i hit the corners with much speed. Im wondering what the options are for adjusting to stop this happening, be it driving style(I am an inexperienced driver) or some form of modification.
