    Track Setup

Hey guys! I recently found an R/C track near me, and man was it fun. The owner gave me so many tips and tricks for tires and suspension, and it handles much better now. Keep in mind, this is a stock VXL Slash with the only upgrade being aluminum caster blocks up front. He added large suspension spacers in the front suspension, and some Dynamite Speedtread Breakaways for the rear. Note that I didn't keep the tires, I just used them on the track. The track is composed of sand, but it is hard packed almost to a dirt consistancy. The suspension made it fly more level off jumps, and handle better in corners. The tires gave me so much more grip on the surface over the stock tires, which I thought were pretty good for bashing in the first place. But what you like suspension wise and grip wise is strictly up to you, but if you want to try this out it would be $18 in total. The spacers come with your truck, and the tires are the rest. Feel free to try it out yourself and tell me your findings.

tires and some kind of suspension tuning make a huge difference.

Last weekend I actually bought the set of 4 Speedtreads off of him, and I blew out my slipper pin so I have yet to test them.
