I saw someone slam a Slash body on a Rally with Muchmore wheels/tires. I really liked it but there was way too much body cut out. I then realized that's the only way to buy a Slash body. That's no bueno. Along comes the Truth, which is not precut allowing what you see here.

2 goofs: 1) I only had florescent yellow paint and didn't want to buy what I really needed to match the rear wheels. 2) I accidentally used a laundry pen on the teeth, meaning to use a Sharpie. I didn't realize it until the marks turned green when the yellow paint was applied.

I was having some issues with flow control of my airbrush (in the market for a new one now) which is one of the reasons I didn't bother trying to shade the teeth, but it still came out pretty nice:

I seriously want to change the ESC, but most of the guys run the stock motor and ESC where I race. The lack of drag brake and horrible control of brake vs reverse is quite annoying. I turned reverse off because of this.

Turned out pretty sweet! Did you have to do any other mods to mount the bumper on the rear?

Almost finished rebuilding my rally. Still have paint up the body and I'll be posting some pics of another rally with a "slash" body on it.

I love the paint job. My only though it that it could use white wheels on the front and put the black ones on the back. I think that would look better than the yellow wheels. But the paint job is just sick man. Im a big fan of skulls.

The thing about wings like this is figuring out where the paint belongs. They always put the overspray protection on the underside and outside of the wing. Most guys I talk to are in agreement that the protection film is on the wrong side. Then again, it's the outside of the wing that will receive the most damage. If you paint the outside and bottom, it gets scratched off in the first wreck. Paint the top/inside, it looks dull and will be hard to clean. This is why I never paint wings and just use decals.
