Looks really nice mate, soon winter will hit Sweden...have you prepared your ice-tires?
I am planning to do the same concept as you but have perhaps come a little further....'

I just put the body on, have not prepared anything, hence the poor fitting

    That looks really nice Powerhous!
To bad we don't have much snow in southern Sweden..
But thinking about modifying the original rims and tires IF we get some snow..

I've been modifying the slash for a while now.. And for now I'm done..
I've shorten the A-arms, bought new rims/tires (on-road/gravel), dropped the chassis dramatically due to the shorter width. I have to buy new shorter and softer springs though.
    Will post pics below!

    Air cooled motor and esc!

The new wheels from Pro-Line Racing

Front view after modifying the shocks - Made the shocks shorter so they can hold up the a-arms - To bad the springs are to hard. But I'm happy with the 70wt shock oil.

Side view with the JConcepts overtray.

First of all, I know the wheels are a bit big. But I bought the wheels before I got my body.
But new ones are on their way! And to be honest, the suburbs are way to grippy for a rally car

Anyways.. Here is my new body from http://http://www.rallyclassics.se/

That body is SICK pattinen, how come I have not seen you around at RSB.se? Also like the tires. I have instead of drooping the chassi bought an LCG one. Perhaps I will start my own thread here???

    Sounds great man!
I will change my chassi to a lcg one. Perhaps to the rally chassi. Becaus Im flipping over in every corner if I dont lower the chassi to the max..
Btw, that body looks really nice! How wide is it?

    Thanks for the nice words!

I have just been out driving the quattro onroad after modding the shocks to be shorter.
In spite of the fact that the car has a hcg chassi, the softest tires (most grippy) I could
find and that the a arms and driveshafts have been shortened, the car now stays upright ;-)

Maby, but I don't think that's necessary. I don't have any problems with the chassi yet, but if I get some problems in the future I will probably buy some sway-bars first

Unfortunately the awesome body is going to need some repair.. flipped the car in 45mph and went right in to the sidewalk..
