mamba monster E revo with maxx rims trouble

has anyone successfully ran the Emaxx rims with the 14mm hex's on their E revo? I started with the plastic stock hex's and the pin just shredded them...lol.. go figure....I bought the aluminum hex's but the hex in the rims are partially "spun" so Im going the put a bead of epoxy in the rims and clamp the aluminum hexs in place and let them cure, but im wondering if the hex rims will handle the the mambas power, If im not mistaken the e revo, and e maxx brushless truck have the 17mm slplined wheel hubs and hex nuts and maybe they have a better bite on the rims.....any opinions out there?

Don't use that whimpy little 4-way wrench to tighten your wheel nuts. Use a ratchet and socket set up and crank them down.

the epoxy worked so far and I moved the damaged rims to the front so they had less stress on them and so far so good, and yep BL Bob that was my plan all along to use a real socket wrench! lol those other 4 ways are for the "toy " trucks
