    Velineon conversion question

Right now i have a brushed KB but i want to go brushless, if i order the 380 velineon combo what else would i need? I already have the smaller motor mount, but is there anything else i would need? Like metal gears in the transmission or no? Thanks in advance guys.

i think in the smaller cars since they have smaller wheels they use the same pinion and a 45t spur. correct me if im wrong. and if you didnt already get a velineon esc. dont. the motor is good but get a better esc that will keep the motor a little cooler. i see people use the ********* 60a and the hobbywing ezrun 60a and it seems good. and if you have extra money and want more speed get a high amp esc around 100a and then get a neu motor from the 1100 series. the 1110 is said to be the biggest that fits without mods and the 1112 fits with minimal grinding on the rear shock mount.

Alright guys, I have a similar problem, so I'm gonna piggyback off of TraxxasGuyHere's thread. I have a brushed Ken Block, with all the new parts stated above, but the mount screws won't fit into the 380 motor, they just slip out. any ideas? Help would be appreciated.

Hmmm. Pictures would help. I can't think of why that would be the case.

Well, after some fiddling, and searching around in parts, I found two matching screws from my TMaxx box of parts so I scavenged. Thanks though!
