    Saying goodbye...

Well, it's time to move on. I'm gonna sell my EMBE since I never have time for it, and will have even less with a little one on the way (#2!)
I'd like to take this moment and thank everyone I've talked to on here for their input, for sharing their ideas and such.
I do plan to keep active on here until it's gone in case anyone has questions for me, and will fade into the darkness once the time arrives.

I've got three, ages 7, 5, 2. I got back into this RC stuff after 20 years with my 7 y.o. 6 months ago. Can't wait for the next one and then the next one to get a little older. They already are wanting one, just can't get the wife to go for it yet. You'll be back hopefully. I really enjoy my time with my son driving around the yard listening to him say, "dad, did you see that, it was awesome!" Even going to build a track for me, uhhh, him soon in our side yard!

@ minirevobasher, reserve not met means that I have a minimum $ amount set so it won't go for less than what I'd take.
Starting bid was only 99 cents since it costs less to do so. Kinda dumb in a way, I know, but alot of people do it.

Thanks man! I appreciate all the positive vibe I've been getting from everyone.
I actually had to list it again. Someone was interested in the buy it now option, but wanted more pix first. Emailed pix and then nothing. Didn't hit reserve. So, it's back up again. Hope someone wants to give it a good home soon!

This is the hardest thing in the world right now...

The truck did sell, but during all of this my wife had a miscarriage and we lost the baby. Our first child came out okay, but was born @ 25 1/2 weeks and sat in the NICU for 2 1/2 months as a result. She was classified as a high risk patient for pregnancy, and that is why we had such a struggle the first time. We were told that the next would probably be alot easier, but apparently this kind of thing is very common with women, high risk or not.
So, guess I sold it to pay other things off instead. All I want to do is go back and fix it, but of course there is no way to do that. I can honestly say I've never cried so hard in all my 37 years on this planet. I just stare off into the distance and picture the string of events that happened and feel nothing but lost.

My wife talked to a great friend of hers tonight who has also gone through this. Not just once, but THREE times! On top of that, she had delivered prematurely at home and her husband had to cut the cord. I'm pretty sure I'd have gone postal at that point. They are such strong people, and I applaud them for that. I just feel I'm not that strong, at least not yet.

In due time we will try again, but for now it's over. Who would've ever thought that a post I created with a title as such would be so accurate on more than one topic, especially without ever knowing what was coming.

My SIS had a couple miscarriages before she was successful, and I can imagine how how it must be. Good luck.

It's always terrible to lose something that's a part of you. My mother had 2 miscarriages, between each of the 3 siblings. If it wasn't for those, I wouldn't be here. So be sure to love and cherish every single one! Sorry for your loss.

Thank you O.G. and TRXnewbie21. My boss just told me yesterday that he and his wife have been through it also. 12 TIMES! I cannot imagine. Yet, he claims it got easier to deal with each time. Not sure how that's possible...

You know, it's crazy how many people we've heard about having issues like this. And my heart goes out to everyone who has experienced this, whether it be directly or indirectly.

Happened to my wife and I with our first, 13weeks. 9 years ago, now, we've got 3 beautiful kids, 7, 5, 2. Wouldn't have any of them if things had been different the first time. Hard to get over at the time, never forget the feeling, but eventually you wouldn't change a thing.

Thank you gentlemen. We are keeping our heads up. It's a bumpy road, but we'll make it through.

There is a memorial service that the hospital provides for those who have lost. They have a headstone to mark where the service is held and you can leave flowers there. It's in October, but we're going to go.
