I'm new to RC and have picked up a Slayer. I've been going through the Traxxas tuning guide for the Slayer and I'm not sure what the following means: Caster = 3 clips forward / 1 clip rear. Can someone explain what this means?
Caster (from Wikipedia): Caster angle or castor angle is the angular displacement from the vertical axis of the suspension of a steered wheel in a car, bicycle or other vehicle, measured in the longitudinal direction. It is the angle between the pivot line (in a car - an imaginary line that runs through the center of the upper ball joint to the center of the lower ball joint) and vertical. Car racers sometimes adjust caster angle to optimize their car's handling characteristics in particular driving situations.
In relation to the Slayer or Revo the upper front arm can be moved forward or back to adjust the caster.
