that almost happened to me a couple times i didnt bother to check the wheel nuts and went running when i brought it over to me i checked temps and happen to feel the wheel and it was just about to come off wheel nut on the edge, now I tigthen before putting the lipos in everytime even if the wheels dont feel loose.

How much were the tickets last year? does it say how much for this year? I may try to make it if i can save up some cash from now till then.

$10 not bad at all, thinking it will cost about $80 in gas alone maybe a slight bit more as gas price is more there than here at 3.61 right now. here's what google says i would have to drive: Waterford, CA-Long Beach, CA
    5 hours 45 mins
    332.0 mi

Now i know what falls in June nice they are having it again next year. Are you going?

I think if i am able to go i would be there saturday starts at 10am so i would get there around 12pm noon time. That 5hrs wouldnt take me i drive 75-80mph so would only take about 3hrs lol and still get 31mpg. I'll have to take extra cash on hand in case i want to buy something while there and gotta eat out that will be a long day. Hope my wife goes along with it, i would invite my family like cusins think they'll like that alot for their kids i'll talk them about it and explain the hobby more to them and how much it cost (not a problem on cost for them though) the more the merrier lol.

On another note havent gotton to see the last 2 vids you made going to watch them now on youtube got the 2 emails in my inbox telling me.

yeah mate, i mention this before when i started the build, but never really continue doing it....so, this time i will forward the build and hope for the best lol.
here it is again of what it looks like,

i'm going to cut the top chassis (mid section) once i get the under chassis supported with stand offs.

here is what i'm going to cut from the top chassis, white dots are the stand off points. steering servo will be mounted under chassis.

if you ever thinking about buying a nut replacement for your 17mm traxxas hex dont bother buying this. it seems to fit perfectly at the first turn but the more you turn it the more it gets harder to turn. so much for spending $12. i could have get 2 set of this off ebay with the original traxxas nut.

yeah you would think the plastic is what hold it but it fall out as i force to turn it all the way tight and when i loosen it out some aluminum materials falling off. so what i did is i put a thick washer in first then the nut.

does it fit?...i saw on one site...this guy had that very same viper body...and the wheel base was a tad bit off...made it look funny...take a look at this pic...

notice the rear cut out for the wheel/tires?...it doesn't line up quite right...and i believe his protoform GT body is the exact same one as urs...

i hope it works for u...
