    Question rustler vxl... worth selling?

I got a rustler vxl on the christmas of 2010. it has a couple of upgrades (wheelie bar, rpm front bumper, and other rpm upgrades, and 8 cell nimh) and i was thinking about selling it cause i dont use it much but i was wondering if i would be able to get a decent price for it. what do u think people would pay? thanks

Nothing matters when selling it, you can put 1000 bucks in it but people want good deals not used merchandise at a huge price, remember they cost 340 brand new

Thats true. If one wants to have a truck with 500 dollars invested in to it, then its more likely he will buy a roller and upgrade it with brand new parts, even if it will cost more. Its always risky buying used stuff because you may have to replace them anyway due to wear.

Id just like to say, that if the truck has any aluminum in crucial places, ie castor/carriers/knuckles the truck could easily sell for 200. Just remember you just cant throw maintenance costs into value of a vehicle. Because your not adding anything new to increase the value in any way. You will almost never get back out of it what you put into it, unless someone is specifically looking for that exact thing. Just the same with 1:1 cars. But as also mentioned take some pics and show it off, it may even help lead you to finding a buyer
    Everything overpowered...

Above is true, its even harder with rc cars. You cant buy any 1:1 car even if you have the money because some are rare. How ever everyone can order a rustler vxl from 100+ online shops and get it delivered next day. A rustler with a couple of mods are hardly a rarity.

I would keep it. Even if you could get some good money out of it. Do you have a little bro or cousin that you could lend it to? Or maybe a friend? Its boring running by yourself. Its good to have a spare around if you have a buddy that isn't really into rc's so you have someone to run with. I know that sounds expensive but the money is already gone so ya know. It seams like a waste to get rid of it. Not to mention you can always use it for parts for another build.
