    A little advice please

First i should mention that i converted my old bandit to the rustler. Now that being said, i am running a Velineon Brushless system and im noticing the wheels are starting to wobble a little. Where it really affects my driving is when i go in reverse it goes crazy and swerves in an S without me moving the steering at all. I am thinking it may be the plastic wearing away with high speeds. Then again i am not quite sure of my hypothesis so i am hoping someone can help me out! I just want to make the little bugger run tight and smooth.

Also! if anyone has any suggestions on street or all-round tires? I was considering foam and an off-road tire and just swap tires to match the terrain i wish to run in. Though i would like to save money and not buy 2 sets of tires.

You have bearings or bushings? My wheels also wobbles a bit, and im running jaco foams. When i reverse my car doesnt go straight either.

Unfortunately there is no track near me for RC cars. As for the hobby shop they said that it was normal for a little wheel wobble with those tires, i tried to tell them that it did that with even the Anaconda tires that i borrowed to test if it was solely a wheel issue. Well they discredited it and sent me off on my way. Now i also will mention i only have bearings

My Slash had the same problem when I upgraded from the white steering bellcranks to the black 4x4 and Slash VXL bellcranks. The problem causing the reverse swerving on mine was that the black steering bellcrank was not compressed fully and locked down in place, if I remember. It was quite a while ago.
What broke, uh, needs upgrading now?

since you have bearings, I would say look for slop in the steering system.

also... sometimes there is a tiny gap between the wheel and the hub carrier. putting teflon washers on both sides of the carrier can help fix this. also as the stock plastic axles wear out the holes that you stick the spikes on the metal bar part of the axle get enlarged putting alot of wobble in the wheels

You never said whether or not you had bearings or bushings as ttThree mentioned above. You probably have worn them out whatever they are. And you might want to upgrade the steering parts to aluminum or new traxxas parts to tighten up the steering.

You also got to remember when you use reverse you toe adjustments are also reverse. So if you have toe-in in the front when you drive forward, in reverse you'll have toe-out and toe-out does make the car harder to track straight and likes to wonder.
