Summit 1/16 brushed to brushless conversion question

Hi,
I have a brushed 1/16 summit and want to upgrade to brushless... Do I need to just get the VXL motor and esc and drop them in? Or do I need other modifications? I guess what I'm asking is if I have the new esc and motor is this just "plug and play"??

I just did this to a mini Digger and it was not just "plug and play"
Things you will need-
motor plate for 380 motor (blue anodized piece attached to the trans)
motor mount for 380 motor (aluminum part with fins that attach to motor)
dust cover for gears

Sorry I dont have the part numbers for you but hopefully this will get you started

Why not just get a ~4,000Kv 60+amp 1/10 system?
It will bolt right on and have less heat issues.
