Was out yesterday with my Digger at a park near where i live. Got caught up in a large puddle and figured id just go through it. The water came up to about the bottom of the truck and just when i was exiting the large puddle my truck started to stutter. I knew it wasnt good. Seconds later the deadly puff of smoke blew out of the castle sct esc. Ive been through water deeper and havent had any issues in the past, so i was actually surprised that it shorted out. Well, you always take a chance when running through water. Looks like i got unlucky this time around.
So, now im on the market to get a new "waterproof" brushless ESC and possibly motor for my Digger. Would like to run a 4 pole sensorless motor. Just looking for recommendations on a good "waterproof" setup that people have used in their vehicles.
Thanks in advance for all advice.
