Heavy LCG going on a diat.

My latest project I made a LCG chassis out of 3/16" alum plate the size of the stock chassis, add 2 batteries and it ended up just over heavy for what I wanted, great for speed runs and power slides as the BIG Toro SC120 4000kv combo is Strong ! But its going on a diat with 1/8" alum plate thats only 3" wide so this is my rebuild thread so to say... hope the pics are not to big.

    Very cool ride!

Any way to route the motor wires through the shock tower? I get nervous seeing them hanging out like that

They are tied to the upper part of the shock and shock tower... I solder my wires directly to the esc...

We have a plate cutter at work and I have been thinking about making one of these. I just need to come up with a design for it in autocad. Is the aluminum decent for bashing? I don't race at all so I was curious if it was worth it.

I cut it with a jig saw and hack saw, filed it down and sanded the edges, loosly based it off of the stock chassis now my new one will be only 3" wide and out of 1/8" alum.
