    Getting back into the game

    Hi all!

It has been a while since i have fired up my VXL. So long, in fact, that I don't know where the remote is. I went online and bought the new TQi with a dock (so I can hook it up with my iPhone ). Does anyone know when the XO-1 sensors will be back in stock so I can log temps and speeds?

    Thank you!

tower has the rpm sensor in stock, you probably could get one off ebay for cheaper.

Cool thank you. I bought an FLM tranny and a SPC lipo battery. If my memory serves me right, those are top notch parts so I should be good to go.

So what all do you need to be able to get real time speed readings? and anything else for that matter?

Just the sensors and a TQi radio with an Ipod?
So I taped my hamster to the Pede..

I was looking it up, and all you need is an RPM sensor to see what MPH you're clocking at. Traxxas also has a GPS sensor which is probably more accurate. But, that sensor is $80 instead of $10.

Too bad the radio is $70+...
If the price goes bellow $50, or I find a used one I think I might have to jump on the opportunity to look into it

Yea that's the ticket. You'll love the FLM transmission, but don't pull a wheelie before you get a wheelie bar:

Thanks for the advise guys. Lol this TQi controller is unbelievable by the way. I sync'd it up to my remote, and my iphone updated the firmware for both devices! How cool!! I can't wait to see how it performs in the field.
