    Help!!!! What's wrong?

Hello I have a xl2.5 mini summit with the tqi system in it. When i turn it on to drive it, the esc flashes red and green for about 5 minutes before it turns green so i could drive it. I reprogrammed it and tried everything. WHATS WRONG??

Unplug your servo then turn it on. Did the light go green? If it did your servo may be to blame.

What kind and how many batteries are you using? Sounds like the overvoltage warning lights.

Are you hooking them up in series when you first turn it on?

I'm stumped. Call Traxxas and see what they say. I know they will probably go over everything you already checked, but maybe they will hook you up with a new ESC. Good luck.

Ok. I found a remedy to myproblem. Turn on the esc then the remote but I don't want to do it because I don't want to ruin my receiver.

It won't ruin the Rx... unless it goes crazy into a pond or something.

But if you are in LiPo mode (green LED on ESC) using NiMh batts will throw a code for over voltage.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

I use nimh batteries because I heard lipo is too powerful for the xl2.5.

lipos sure do look like alotta fun tho.... I watched some lipo vs nimh comparrisons on youtube...... AWESOME!!!! no matter what batteries you use your gonna have to upgrade driveline and susp. stuff. I just got my mini summit 2 weeks ago and ive only used nimh and have already had to go to merv axles....busted an axle carrier and popped my center driveshaft.... but..... it was fun while doing it!!!
