plz help this will be bad !

i am taking a summit frount end with suspension all of it and im taking an e maxx rear end with suspension and all and putting it on one frame will the summit frount end match up to the e maxx rear end will it drive will it be fast. Im putting on two 970s and extending the summit frount end with the extension upgrade and lowering the hole car as much as i can im not looking to make a rock hopper but a bad rally racer. by extending the frount end and lowering the hole truck as low as i can go was looking to make the handling better. i did costom make a plexi glass chassis to put this all on so i dident run into needing more room to mount in hard places another thing its a must for this all to have working 4WD i want good pulling power to make it up big steap jumps that seem to be slow going over i want it to power up those jumps like no other

will this work plz help me

...the awd could lead to complications that I don't know the gains would justify it. Give it enough power and the thing should be able to make it any kind of ramp. It sounds like you're trying to do this with spare parts, otherwise I would think there's probably a better staring point for your project.

Either way I wish you the best of luck. Be sure to post pictures of your build progress.

When your building a custom contraption such as this NO ONE can tell you how it will work or perform as NO ONE has ever done exactly the same thing before. If you want to do it, go ahead and let us know how it works. Then YOU can answer the next guys question about how it will work.

    The Swami Says:

    answer #1 - buy an e-revo.

just for the fact you are running a rally means you want speed/handling with the ability to soak up bumps at great velocity. the erevo suspension is the best (in my opinoin). much better than the emaxx.

Answer #2 yes the emaxx and the summit will mate up due to the fact they both use the same center axles and the same transmission (you can fiddle with the suspesion to equalize the heights. Now comes the hard part ; bolting half a summit chassis to half an emaxx chassis. Doable but will look fugly. If you are serious I would say start from scratch and make a plate chassis with one end mating up to an emaxx bulkhead and the other mating up to a revo/summit bulk head. (your plexiglass chassis is a great start).

answer #3 both cars are allready full time 4x4 - you would just either encorporate the summits locking diffs or use thicker diff fluid in the emaxx diffs to give it full time 4x4 with ultimate traction.

Answer # 4 will it drive fast? Of course it will especially with dual 970 motors - I estimate approx 34 mph (based on the fact that Kershaw dual 775 motor set up will net 30 mph). Next problem is how do you keep the dual 970 from melting your EVX-2 speed controller (thats one of the reasons Kershaw no longer sells the dual 970 kit). but if you are changing speed controllers then I would also change to a better single motor - if for nothing else then to save weight/ handling.

Answer # 5 (yes I have plenty of time on my hands)

Why the extended summit front end? if you are talking length then why not simply make a longer plexi glass chassis and use metal plates/flat rods for re-enforcement?
