Sweet. Did you use real carbon and did you just lay it on the inside of the shell?

Sweet... did you make it or did you get the one that was on eBay?

I think this shell would help out tremendously at high speeds.

Yah, it's on the outside. Oak-man was selling similar ones on eBay for $180.00 they look sharp but the heat out here would cause that stuff to peal off.

Yep... that's the guy on eBay. I think he was selling a few for cheap because the final product wasn't 100% smooth and he had some snags/runs.

This actually got me thinking... I may try to do a real carbon fiber body for the **** of it. The stock body just isn't rigid enough for my liking.

There's got to be some kind of resin that can be painted or sprayed on the backside that's better than bedliner.

I used the simple ribbon of carbon fiber. miolto is resistant because of the glue that he once applied it is very difficult to detach.
if someone wants to buy sell on ebay

I love the look and also considered doing this but once the car flips and skids you can kiss the vinyl wrap good bye .. But if it doesnt penetrate the core<underside sticky part> of it the upside is you can always cut another peice and slap it right back on there ..
    Btw nice chinaware
