Looking for Slayer feedback - may convert

I am thinking about converting one of my Revo chassis to a Slayer Pro. I have been looking for conversion parts and the only seem to be on ebay, unless I purchase them NIP. This tells me that either no one is buying the Slayer or no one wants to give up their Slayer because it AWESOME!

Whats your input and review of your Slayer? Should I bother with it or not?

    Thanks for your comments

I love my slayer pro. does everything i want it to do. has crazy speed and handles jumps pretty good. and also have been finally able to do some decent drifting with it when i run my stock tires (just cause they have turned into slicks) lol.
yea there really isn't alot out there for the slayer pro. just really never took off. kinda sucks cause RPM doesn't make arms for it, but knock on wood i have had mine over a year and haven't broke a control arm. just would be nice to have them for some security....But it's def a fun truck. which revo chassis do you have?

My slayer pro is GREAT!!! There may be very little aftermarket parts avalible, but think about it..... There is no aftermarket parts for the slayer because there is no more things to make better!!! Traxxas did a great job when they did the slayer pro! Sorry if you want more info, I'll get to it tomorrow, I'm typing on my dad's iPad while we are driving, so it's really hard to type...

I love my Slayer Pro, like every one has said theres not much on the market for it, but alot of revo parts will fit it. and the sc8 body will fit with some trimming.

I have the extended Revo chassis...been doing a ton of research and i'm looking at 200$ for just a basic setup conversion if I purchase everything new.

I was going to sell the chassis but I havent had any luck so, figure, if i'm going to keep it....make a new project of it.

The transmission is the one stumbling point. I need to change the output gear but I dont know if I need to change anything else. How can one gear be different and the other gear be the same? I suppose its just a different design and not size.

that $200 bucks include new tires? if i remember correctly that is the only gear you need to change. but it's been bout a year since i looked up cause i looked at one time to converting mine to a revo. but think i just planned on getting a complete revo tranny....
