    xl-1

    what is the biggest battery you can run on a xl-t esc. can you run 2c lipo or a 7 cell 5000mah?

    You can run 4-7 cell nimh. You could run up to 2s lipo BUT it does not have LVC built in so you would need to buy an external one. You can have as much "mah" as you want. There is no limit there.

    wats the lvc. can u leave a link on what it is please. so whats is the biggest lipo and mah on a 7 cell batery can i go

    There is no limit on mah you can have millions of it. 2s is the lipo max and 7 cell is the nimh max. An external lvc buzzes loud before the lipo enters unstable voltage. That way you know when it's time to stop and re charge. Lvc comes standard on new xl-5s and vxl-3s but not on the xl-1. http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=320726773597

    To make it simple mah is run time. For example 20 min or 30 min. Amount of cells or voltage is raw power and is really how fast the car will go.

    so i will need a lvc if i want to go lipo correct??? where does it connect to if i buy an external one.

    Correct. The balance connector on the lipo.

    It plugs straight into the little white connector in the picture below. It's very simple once you have both the lvc alarm and lipo in front of you.

    it would be best to get a lva(low voltage sounding alarm)

    with a digital read out and adjustable voltage alarm
    like this one lva(low voltage sounding alarm)
