    LiPo Size

I cant find a battery that i think will fit in my slash 1/16. I was using the battery size for the recomemded lipos on the traxxas site but I cant find any lipos that small anywhere. Can anyone recommend a lipo pack for me?

Check out Traxxas 2 and 3 cell. My 3 cell 1400 is very small compared to my others

I was, but the capacity is kind of low. I guess i could run 2 them in parallel if the slash would allow it. Its the brushless btw.

ok, ill check them out. But, are the traxxas lipos designed to fit perfectly? What are the dimensions of the battery compartments on the slash?

EDIT: never mind, i see in the description where it says it will fit the 1/16 slash.

well as you know we cant post the site here.. but they list for AROUND (like i said before jimbo not excatly) $12 but if you find the battery and let it sit on that page a while a pop up will come up at the bottom and say do you really want this here is a one time offer for AROUND (jimbo) $11, click on that but before you check out if you do a little googling like i do before all my buys, you can find a coupon code to put in there site, the one i found was for i dont remember EXACTLY (jimbo) but some % off when you spend so much, so i ordered another battery, and some connectors, and my total come out to where i paid LIKE I SAID THE FIRST TIME (jimbo) AROUND $9 a piece for them, not exactly but not $20 for sure not over $10

a 2200 lipo or 2200 **** will have the same run time.being **** allows it to be a 2200 in a smaller package .i have a 2450 50/90 **** that fits with room to spare where my 2200 25c is a very tight fit

yes it is a very tight fit.. and i get alot of run time out of my **** techs, they seem to be more powerful than the others, the others are 40-50c i think, the ****'s are much higher.. i never run those.. i charge up two ****'s and i get more run time than i want to even stay out side cause of the heat haha..

well people may argue with me but you can get the battery i have posted up there on the bottom for no more than $12 each.. i only paid around $9 (i had a coupon code) but they have lasted me countless runs.. they were the first thing i got for my car and they are still going strong.

no!i said you can't always go by their dimensions! go by the reviews from somebody that has ran them!

with the taper in the box ,a battery that is tall will hit the taper before it hits the side of the battery box .

if you have a dremal you could open up the box a little too

I believeI have the same batteries. They actually measure in at 103, which will still squeeze in with a a bit of Dremel work. I had to lower the hump inside the box behind the servo. I also had to shave off the portions of the battery box vents that protrude into the box. And last, I had to cut off a piece of the door to allow the wires to come out. I also put a vinyl pull tab (electrical tape) around the batteries so that I can get them out easily (easier).

I just ordered some "upgraded" version of the listed 114mm packs that have a higher C rating for discharging and charging. They are listed as 112mm. I hope they come in under 103mm, because I ordered 6 of them. They were only $8.80 a piece.

Gentlemen please take note. If you look back at some of the posts in this thread you will see several brand names that were previously allowed have now been blocked by our language filter. These are battery brands that come from the banned website based out of Hong Kong. Discussing these batteries will no longer be allowed on the Traxxas forum and will be treated just like mention of the website they come from has been for some time now. We appreciate your cooperation on this in future posts.
