MOTOR MOUNTS-- King Headz vs. STRC vs. GH

Bought a new Sl4sh roller off fleabay and would like to upgrade the motor mount.

I know the King Headz is popular here. How about the STRC or GH? Any opinions on these or a different brand?? I plan to squeeze in a 1/8 castle motor.

If they have a larger bearing any of them will do the job

This is from the STRC website but doesn't state bearing size.

The GH piece uses a 10x19x5mm bearing.

I have used the King Headz and STRC mounts. Like restless says, you need to add lubricant to the bearing to help it live longer.

How often do you lubricate them?

I have read about fitment issues of the FLM. The STRC uses the same bearing size as stock and the holes might let unwanted material through them. King Headz seems to be the most popular and that has a good reason IMO.

I use automotive grease or shock oil. It helps prolong the life of my bearings. Been doing it for a long time. I still have some original bearings on the slash I bought in January 2010!!!
