    Got my ERBE today:)

I bought a used ERBE last week and got it today Man, what an insane car, pulling wheelies at any speed and tons of torque I have a set of badlands on its way and I think Ill buy a set of Proline Road Rage too for speed runs on tarmac.

But what kind of shock settings are you guys using for bashing? My car is fittet with long travel "arms" front and rear and other springs ront and rear.Dont remember the color right now but I think its a bit hard in the rear, front is looser. I got the original springs and rocker arms(is that what they are called, the grey arms in the suspension?), should I use them?
Ride height of the car now is like a summit. Will it be too low for real bashing with the original ride height?

I was breaking stock drive shafts every other run, with the LT rockers. You need the Summit shafts to use with the LT rockers.

Like 87 gn, I suggest summit shafts if your gonna run the LT rockers. I ended up lowering my erevo to about a race truggy height, an it's wearing truggy furniture now too, and it still bashes great and now handles great.

I already have summit axles on it
I havent tested it more than 1 set of batteries but are going to a local track on sunday. Ill test it better then with jumping and more bashing and see if I`ll adjust the suspension any. Maybe it wont do wheelies so easy with a little softer suspension in the rear? Now it does wheelies at any speed Kinda fun but hopeless if you try to go fast on a track.

loosen your slipper just a bit and it shouldnt do wheelies so easily.

    Didnt think of that
And I connected the ESC with the Castle Link today and changed the throttle curve so its not so steep. Havent tried it yet but I think I`ll have to push the throttle beyond 50% for it to really kick in. That will probably help on the wheelies at lower speeds. But what is exactly "punch control"? I have only used the castle link with a crawler before and there wasnt any need to adjust any throttle curves there....

If you're going to run it on a track a lot, you may want to install a center diff in the transmission. That will also help control the power to the ground.

Mostly going to bash with it but a friend is talking about making a track in his backyard so maybe then. I kinda lik eit with the wheelies too But it would be nice not to get wheelies every time I touch the throttle....

Refer to this to setup the Mamba Monster ( MMM ) esc for maximum performance:

punch control, you should have torque limit adjustment too.

Even for bashing? Im thinking of trying the original rockers and see how it is then. Is there any problems with hitting the ground when jumping with the original rockers?

87GN:thx for guide, I`ll read it and test some settings.

P2 rockers are a decent bashing setup. They are a good all around choice.

Nothing wrong with chassis hitting the ground on landings. It's all in the "how"

if you set the suspention to tight, so it doesn't bottom out on big air jumps. The truck will bounce off small jumps, & roll over on hard corning.

Blue & silver also but 80 wt., P2, & inner hole

    preload:
I set it all the way up, so the springs completly Collapse when you push the chassis to the ground..no more no less..
Chassis is going to hit the ground, with big air, no matter what. You just don't want that hop or bounce with smaller jumps.

Ok, Ill try it tomorrow with the etup I have now but I will probably change it to get a lower ride height for better cornering.
    Thx for link

Got a set of Badlands tires today, taped them and glued them On the test run with 6s they worked perfectly
Didnt baloon at all at full speed. I also lowered the car back to normal with the P2 rockers and the car is totally different! Now it handles good without tipping over every time I turn. And its alot harder to make it do a wheelie so now I can actually go fast with it Maybe a combination with new wheels and lower ride height that make sit harder to do wheelies? On grass it wheelies all the time ofc but on gravel its much better!
