    which beadlocks for Trencher XS?

Hello i am searching for a alternative to my worn out canyons.i dont drive high speed ,prefer climbing riverbeds. if i tested many narrow tires (comes to tippy on side slopes) i want tires same as the stock size with the same offset but with real beadlocks.i like to easy dry out my foams after long river rides.
my dealer sell some cheap beadlocks for a MT4-G3 S50 but i dont know the size from this rims (same as the stock S50).any proposal?

Trenchers use a 40 or 4.0 size rim. Axial oversize rims should fit or proline 40 size rims or RC4WD 4.0 size rims should fit. There may be some minor trimming involved and if you go with bead locks make certain the tire does NOT have the traxxas style edge.

So, are those the proline premounted? And you painted them? Or actual beadlocks? Just wondering as my glueing abilities are pretty sub-par.

not premounted. these are proline old style beadlock wheels (standard wheels, shape and size - "narrow") but colored.

currently you can only buy proline with the tech 5 or non beadlock rims. Proline no longer sells 40 series beadlocks. there are some discountinued proline beadlock wheels floating around.

most people go with axial oversized cause they are readily available and come in summit stock 17mm hex (proline beadlock is 23mm)

X vs. original. I much prefer the original.

I know they're having their break there by your brake drums. No, you're not invited.

The MT4 G3 "beadlocks" are not real. Just for show, like the Traxxas Geode.

It is a great wheel, and the stock MT4 tire is a great all terrain basher. Lightweight, wears extremely well, hooks up great on many surfaces.

But if you are looking for a true beadlocks, that's not it.
