    Changing motors?

The motor in my slash does not work any more. It is the titan 380 18T will a titan 550 12T fit right in or should I buy another 380? Or is there a different motor I should look for? Dont want to go brushless yet

To go with the 550 will require a different motor plate and mount

Finding a brushed 380 size motor may prove to be quite a challenge...
I would contact Traxxas and see if they have a cheap warranty replacement program for your motor.

Keep in mind it costs around $60-80 to go with a brushless system... ESC and motor.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

go straight to BL motor, you wont regret it. i have spent a good $68 ESC/bl motor and field program card for easy programing on my ESC.

only 380 Watts and can only run 2 cell Max. There are much stronger bb motors out there!
