    Post Up your Jato Videos

I couldn't find a dedicated thread for videos. Jato insanity, Jato top speed, Jato jumps, Jato off-road, this Truck is awesome.

Here is a video after a top speed session with some messing around

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zv8e...e_gdata_player

Let's see your Jato's in action.

Here are a few... nothing fancy. I dont have a speed gun and my car has been giving me problems. I have to grab a few new glowplugs tomorrow after work. Hope that is all that is wrong with it at the moment. The EZ start is not reading the plug, so hopefully thats just a bad plug

    Onroad at Hubbard Park
    Few passes
Offroad at Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT Ignore the wheelie bar snapping flip
Wheelies and Pina Coladas... Just running the gas out to clean tank

Like I said, nothing too crazy. Just pure fun in my eyes

    Nice, keep em coming.

I'll hopefully have my Bro with the HD cam for some better video and speed runs caught on tape.

    here's some of my Jato

I had to delete 1 of the video links, racing in the streets is not to be posted, it is illegal and dangerous.

    All great stuff.

I must admit I like this lil Hot Rod & since the Jato is a speed demon I love the high speed stuff showing the mph this thing is capable of. Box stock I'm already hitting over 60mph. I wasn't sure if the box hype of 65mph was possible.

Don't know why this video came out like this but the small blue car is a jato , the grey truck is a revo , the purple truck is a Tmaxx.

Love the video action, wish I had a spot like that for my Savages and 8ight-T 2.0.

I'm glad to see this thread grow, don't be shy to post up awesome Jato videos you find. There are some hot clips with guys running Novas & any fast top speed runs are prime choice.

    Keep em coming.

When it gets too hot to run during the day we hit the parking lot at night under the lights. May be tough to get video. We run mostly dirt. We are working on night lighting for the track.

Here is a cold start up video with the EZStart. It really lives uo to its namesake.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SIi...e_gdata_player

Nice lil jump past the camera at the end.

Keep those videos coming. I'm getting a GoPro so I'll have some crazy footage hopefully by next week.

Thanks, I needed a lil something to cap an otherwise boring video. Just thought I might show people thinking about Nitro, that its not a constant fight with the engine. Anybody new to the hobby needs to consider a Traxxas with an EZStart vehicle, much different then noobs fighting with pull starts.

I think EZstart is great for begginers. I've played iwth nitro's for several years, and I honestly love just pressing a button to start it. It's great.

    Agree 100% .
not to start another ez start-pull start debate, but indeed it was a great success by traxxas introducing this system. i'm sure that many many guys around the world get into Nitro rc because of this system make it easier for them and let them a way from the pull start headach issues.

BTW, i'm fully sure that if other RC manufacturers did came up with another similar starting system like the ez start, they would throw their pull start a way and it wad something history by now .. but it appears that they didn't find one yet.

Been crazy last few days. I moved yesterday, and went spending today. I was gonna grab a GoPro of a local add, but it didn't pan out. I couldn't help myself and grabbed the Hero2 from a retail store. Got a Hero2, LCD acreen and a SD for it. Don't ask what the bill was, it was a good dent.

Got it set up for some RC view action. Please be patient as I figure it out, videos, videos, videos coming soon.

    Hi Assassin,
nice product the gopro, awaiting your vids.

Concerning the end pipe on your muffler, I'm not sure it is a good idea to turn it on the top...you should turn it to the ground in order to evacuate correctly not burnt oil.

Your wheely bar in this position is a good idea for on road runs!

you're planing some serious videos i can tell !
    waiting to see them soon

btw, if you can install the go pro cam on the right side of truck it would be a perfect point of view. putting the front tire on the scene like the movies way is better than the conventional method, but if it's diffecult forget about it to save your cam.

I was thinking the same about the deflector. I never thought of reversing my wheelie bar. Hows that work out for you? Im going to try it. But you should definitely think about turning that deflector down

Yeah, got some plans 4 something interesting. The 120 fps slow motion feature should be sweet on some wheelies, and some 50 to 60mph first person speed runs.

The flipped wheelie bar helps from dancing rear ends & should make riding out wheelies easier when coupled with a lil more LSD action from the diff.

The reflector turned up hasn't shown any sign of issues. I will keep an eye on it, but dont think it will be an issue, so far I get no build up in the pipe, and the exhaust isn't messing up my left rear wheels chrome.

Thanks. Working on some HD footage. Its a pain how big some files are, but the end product should be nice. The view from on top of the Jato when it builds up speed is awesome, I cant wait to get it together.

Thank you nitrofool. That is one of the best head2head race i ever watched . no complement, it's just pure fun !
it can really compete as a race car with other " dummy " monster trucks LOL .

did strip your spur at the end of the video ?
if yes, it's because of the jumps i guess.
    Thanks again

Yeah, that HUGE Jato air time right at the end might of got something, but sure was sick. Great video of Jatos off road ripping with a decent MT.

A spur gear would have been a good failure , but it was the tranny. Some of my other videos are kinda cool. There is a rusty video and a revo video getting big air. Just trying to break stuff at the end of the day.
